Helichrysum essential oil comes from the Helichrysum italicum plant, also known as Immortelle, which is generally found in Mediterranean and Southern Europe. The name Helichrysum is derived from the Greek words helios meaning sun and chrysos meaning gold, which refer to its numerous clusters of tiny yellow flowers.
Helichrysum oil is comprised of a chemical group called esters, which are generally known to be calming and relaxing. In aromatherapy, helichrysum is used to re center and focus the body’s energy.
Our helichrysum essential oil is obtained by steam distilling the flowering tops of the plant, it is 100% organic and 100% natural.
