Arnica Oil

Our arnica oil comes from freshly picked wild arnica flowers and is macerated in organic sunflower seed oil, enabling the maintenance of potent arnica concentrate inherent to the flower.

Arnica comes from the perennial Arnica Montana, a yellow-orangish flower that grows in the mountains of Europe and Siberia. It’s sometimes called the “mountain daisy,” because its colour and petals look like the familiar flower. Arnica’s use dates back centuries and generations of Swiss mountain guides chewed arnica leaves to prevent fatigue induced by climbing. The dried leaves were used as a substitute for tobacco, hence its common name of mountain tobacco. It is well known that Arnica is the ingredient of choice for athletes and contains soothing properties which are ideal for after sports relief.
