Carousel Tests
Option 1: Image Carousel
An image carousel lets you display pictures in a looping fashion. There is no option for a text or button overlay, however the entire carousel can link to another page when clicked.
Settings are:
- Image stretch on
- Show navigation dots and arrows
- Show one slide at a time
- Entire carousel links to Shop page
- No captions
- Autoplay on, pause on hover on, pause on interaction on, slide is to the left
The below carousel shows the “Slide” effect:
The below slider is the same, except with the transition effect being a “Fade”:
Option 2: Slides
Slides allow for a text overlay on top of an image. You can add a slide title, description, button text, and button link that is unique per slide.
Settings are:
- Image set to “cover”
- Show navigation dots and arrows
- Show one slide at a time
- Each button links to a different product.
- No captions
- Autoplay on, pause on hover on, pause on interaction on,
- Slide is on, can also be set to “Fade” instead (just like the Image Carousel above)
- Content animation is “up”, can also be set to down, right, left, or zoom.
Option 3: Media Carousel
A media carousel shows a cropped image or video and can be set to display 1-10 pictures at a time. Each individual picture can have its own link.
Settings are:
- Image set to “cover”
- Show navigation dots and arrows
- Can show a different number of slides on a desktop vs tablet vs mobile view. Currently set to 1 for each view (can be set to “Default” or 1-10).
- Each image links to a different product.
- No captions
- Autoplay on, pause on hover on, pause on interaction on,
- Slide is on, can also be set to “Fade” or “Cube” instead.
